The Vice Governor of Cambodia’s Kampong Speu province, Men Sam Bo paid a pre-Tet visit to the Mekong delta province of Vinh Long on Jan. 29.
The Vice Governor conveyed his best wishes to the Party Committee, authorities and people of Vinh Long – a sister province of Kampong Speu.
He said he hoped Vinh Long would successfully implement its socio-economic development targets for 2011 and the following years.
Nguyen Van Diep, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vinh Long province, welcomed Kampong Speu’s proposal to send experts to exchange information and establish bilateral cooperation in socio-economics and cultural fields, in particular women issues.
Vinh Long will do its utmost to further promote the traditional solidarity and friendship between the two localities and the two countries, said Diep./.
