Under the canopy of the primitive forest of Cuc Phuong National Park, Cuc Phuong Turtle Conservation Center covers an area of more than 7.000 m2, including separate cages and water tanks for turtle conservation.

Facing the alarming situation of illegal turtle hunting and trading, the Center has made every effort in rescue and conservation of turtles, especially rare species of turtles.

In addition to nurturing and caring, the center also displays specimens of many types of turtles. They also have freshwater turtle tanks, nursery rooms, ponds, and outdoor cages for visitors to observe turtles in the natural habitat.

Many turtles at the center are extremely rare and valuable, which can be up to hundreds of millions of Vietnam dong. So, the pressure of the protection work here is huge./.
