The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines (VNA) has announced that it will open a direct air route between Ho Chi Minh City and Yangon, Myanmar on Nov.15.
VNA will conduct three flights per week on the route every Monday, Friday and Sunday by Airbus A320. A two-way ticket applied for each passenger from Vietnam to Yangon during the promotional period from Nov.15 to Dec.25 will be 1,95 million VND (99,45 USD).
Earlier in March, VNA launched direct flights between Hanoi and Yangon which serve passengers every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday./.
