VN, Czech Republic promote defence ties
VN and Czech will promote cooperation in the defence industry.
Vietnam and the Czech Republic will promote cooperation in
the defence industry and exchange of delegations in the future.
The agreement was reached at the talks between Defence Minister Phung Quang Thanh and his visiting counterpart Alexandr Vondra in Hanoi on March 27.
Minister Thanh applauded the Czech defence minister’s visit to Vietnam and expressed his belief that the visit will contribute to strengthening mutual understanding and promoting the friendship between the two armies and peoples.
Vondra said he is pleased to visit Vietnam , expressing his thanks for the warm reception by the high-ranking officers of the Vietnam People’s Army.
After the talks, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of defence.-VNA
