Four Vietnamese agricultural experts have left for Mozambique on a three-month mission to help improve rice farming in the African country, said the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Hanoi.

The activity is in the framework of the Project for Improvement of Techniques for Increasing Rice Cultivation Productivity in Nante, Zambezia province, Mozambique , which was signed between JICA Vietnam and Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in December 2010.

The Vietnamese experts will work together with Japanese experts to conduct site survey and choose suitable area for the implementation of the project.
