The Vietnamese Ministry of Finance and the International Data Group will host the Vietnam Finance Conference and Exhibition in Hanoi from September 28-30.

Themed, “Restructuring National Finance: Policy Challenges and Linking – Integrating Trends”, the event is a new version of the annual Conference on Vietnam Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Finance, the financial sectors’ largest and only ICT conference over the past seven years.

According to the MoF, the event also aims to expand linkages with other ministries and departments through the Treasury and Budget Management Information Management System, as well as help community and business access to public services of different agencies and organisations through a one-port model.

At the event, experts will focus on discussing measures and orientations to effectively apply ICT linked with administrative reform and gradually promoting e-administrative services to contribute to realising the development strategy of the financial sector.

Public, business and residential financial restructuring, an important part of the MoF’s financial development strategy for the 2010 – 2020 period, will also be discussed.

Additionally, the organising board will open an exhibition introducing an overview of ICT development strategy for the financial sector, ICT with administrative reform, linkage and integration trends as well as displaying products of domestic and foreign suppliers to develop ICT applications for the financial sector./.
