VN, Indonesia to co-host 2010 regional football cup
The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) has selected Vietnam and
Indonesia to co-host the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup, while Malaysia is named
the stand-by venue for the regional championships.

The federation made the decision at a meeting in Malaysia on July 13-14, which focused on the AFF Suzuki Cup 2010, the U19 Southeast Asia 2009 and the U16 Southeast Asia 2009.
Five countries including Laos , Bruinei , Cambodia , the Philippines and East Timor will play the qualifying round to select two teams for the final round, while six other countries in the region will automatically enter the final.
Laos , Brunei and the Philippines have withdrawn from the Under 19 Southeast Asia 2009 tournament which prompts the federation to reschedule it to August 4-12 in Ho Chi Minh City .
Thailand also pulled out of the Under 16 Southeast Asia 2009 tournament./.
