Gen. Phung Quang Thanh, Minister of National Defence made the promise at a reception for Maj. Gen. Thoong-loi, member of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and Director of LAND, in Hanoi on July 18.
Minister Thanh hailed the outcomes of working sessions between VNDA and LAND over the past time, on the basis of Protocols and annual cooperation plans signed between the two countries’ defence ministries and expressed support to LAND’s proposals, regarding cooperation in training and the application of information technology in military training.
He underlined the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
Thoong-lol expressed his delight at acquiring Vietnam’s experience in personnel training for the Lao People’s Army./.
