city of Phnom Penh on June 7.
The five-day competition attracted 86 players from 8 ASEAN coutries including Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Brunei.
Vietnam, who sent 12 players to the tournament, won one gold medal in the U18 team events, one gold medal by player Nguyen Hong Tam in the U15 girls’ singles and only one silver medal in U18 boys’ singles.-
Singapore took the lead with 9 gold medals and 5 silver medals, followed by Thailand with 6 gold medals and 6 silver medals./.
