VN recognises honourary consuls for Portugal

Tran Kim Chung was recognised asPortuguese honourary consul to Hanoi and Afonso Carlos Neves Vieira ashonourary consul to Ho Chi Minh City .

Portuguese Ambassador to Vietnam , corresponding in Thailand Jorge Jorres-Pereira attended the event.

DeputyFM Hung used the occasion to have discussions with the Ambassador aboutmeasures to boost relations between the two countries.

At present, there were 56 foreign consulates in Vietnam , with 32 headed by honourary consuls./.
