Tran Kim Chung was recognised as Portuguese honourary consul to Hanoi and Afonso Carlos Neves Vieira as honourary consul to Ho Chi Minh City .
Portuguese Ambassador to Vietnam , corresponding in Thailand Jorge Jorres-Pereira attended the event.
Deputy FM Hung used the occasion to have discussions with the Ambassador about measures to boost relations between the two countries.
At present, there were 56 foreign consulates in Vietnam , with 32 headed by honourary consuls./.
