A delegation of the Ministry of Home Affairs led by its Deputy Minister Nguyen Tien Dinh has been on a working visit to the UK and Italy to discuss measures for boosting cooperation in personnel training.
During their stay in the UK , they worked with Birmingham University , discussing a training cooperation framework, which is expected to meet the demand in Vietnam .
While in Italy , the delegation worked with the Italian National Institute for Administration, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss administrative and public finance reform and share experience in human resource training.
Home Affairs Ministry’s spokesperson Nguyen Xuan Binh said that the UK and Italy are willing to train Vietnamese officials at both central and grassroots levels and that they will send specific training to the Vietnamese sides soon.
The visit started from Mar. 19 and will end on Mar. 29./.
