Deputy Defence Minister Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Chi Vinh received visiting Head of the Policy Department of the Singaporean Defence Ministry Gabriel Lim in Hanoi on June 15.
The Deputy Defence Minister said he was delighted at military and defence relations between the Vietnamese and Singaporean armies and described the current Vietnam visit by Gabriel Lim as highlighting the common determination of the two nations and armies to boost friendship and mutual understanding.
Gabriel Lim provided a briefing on the results of the Singapore-Vietnam joint working group meeting and expressed his wish that relations between the armies of Singapore and Vietnam would continue to develop, along with their countries common strategic ties./.
