VNA boosts ties with Mexican workers party

The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Mexican Workers Party (PT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral cooperation to increase mutual understanding, cultural exchanges and boost friendship between the two countries.

The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Mexican Workers Party (PT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral cooperation to increase mutual understanding, cultural exchanges and boost friendship between the two countries.

The document was signed during VNA Deputy General Director Ngo Ha Thai’s visit to Mexico from November 24-30. As part of the MOU, the VNA publication, Vietnam Pictorial, will be printed and published in Mexico .

VNA’s reporters and editors will also be sent to Mexico for training.


Both parties will also work together to strengthen bilateral cooperation as part of the joint plan drawn up by the Communist Party of Vietnam and PT to put their agreement into action between 2010-2015.

Earlier, the VNA’s Deputy General Director met with PT Secretary General Alberto Anaya Gutierrez, where they discussed how to advance cooperation in the future.

During his stay in Mexico , Thai also met with the General Director of the Mexican news agency Notimex, Sergio Uzeta.

They both praised the 2010 cooperation agreement and agreed to extend it for one more year with cooperation fields being expanded to personnel training and multimedia product exchange./.
