Addressing the conference, the VNA leader emphasized serious impacts that the pandemic has made on the world’s media and correspondents over the past time.

Regarding the VNA’s response to the pandemic, Trang said the national news agency has been consistently conveying the government’s message, which puts people’s health and lives as top priority, and stimulating the whole country’s resolve to fight the pandemic, as well as the faith in the country’s recovery.

Being present at epicentres of the outbreak from the beginning, VNA reporters captured stories of efforts and sacrifices of the frontline forces, the people and businesses’ support as well as the endeavours by the Party and State leaders so as to soon bring the country to the new normal situation.

Trang also briefed participants about VNA’s solutions to fight the pandemic, including the launch of special sections and columns on COVID-19 on all VNA media channels and the project “Say No to Fake News” for young people, among others.
