VNA hosts photo exhibition on country’s historical milestones
The Vietnam News Agency in collaboration with Hai Phong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism opened a photo exhibition featuring the glorious history, integration and development of the country.
The atmosphere in the historic September 2,1945 at Ba Dinh Square (Photo:VNA)On display are 20 black-and-white and 70 colour photos, among which are images reflecting the boisterous atmosphere in the historic August 1945 in Hanoi and Hai Phong, the Ba Dinh Square on September 2, 1945, the journey to the triumph of the Dien Bien Phu battle on May 7, 1954 and the Spring Great Victory in 1975. Progress of the country in the cause of national industrialisation and modernisation is also depicted in many photos.
Another thematic exhibition on Hai Phong city’s development was also held on the occasion.
Hai Phong is one of the country’s leading cities in attracting foreign investment and is striving to become a modern port city by 2020.-VNA
