There has been a lack of Vietnamese language teaching and introduction to Vietnamese culture in French schools. The “Springboard to Vietnam” project plays a vital role in bridging the gap between French people and the Vietnamese language and culture.

Vietnam posted revenue of 1.89 billion USD from the export of 1.42 million tonnes of rubber during the first nine months of this year. Though volumes increased, there was a year-on-year fall of 17.4% in value.

Ninh Binh province is endowed with rich historical and cultural values as the former capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries. These values have now been integrated into signature local products within the “One commune - One product” (OCOP) programme.

The 2023 “Áo bà ba” festival was launched recently in Hau Giang province, with the theme “Hau Giang Smile”. Attended by Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, the festival is among several activities held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the province’s establishment.

Vietnam’s trade surplus in September was estimated at some 2.3 billion USD, bring the figure in the first nine months of the year to nearly 21.7 billion USD, according to the General Statistics Office.
