Vietnam News Agency (VNA) has sent a team to the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai to present 15 desktop computers to a local secondary school.
The gift aims to share the locality’s difficulties, helping local students access information technology.
Dang Thu Ha, Director of the Quang Trung Secondary School , said with excitement that this is a meaningful present for the teachers and students, especially when her school is ready to be given national standard status.
Dinh Thanh Tung, a student at the school, said: “We are very happy with the gift. I hope students in disadvantaged areas throughout the country will get the same meaningful presents like us.”
Eight sets of gifts were also given to the school’s disadvantaged students on the same day.-VNA
