A delegation of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) visited the central province of Quang Tri on June 24-25 with gifts for Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin victims.
The delegation presented the gifts, each worth 2 million VND, to 15 children, who have suffered from the effects of AO in Trieu Phong district.
The gifts were paid for from the VNA’s ‘Victims of Agent Orange Fund’ and donations from staff at the agency.
Currently, there are 15,485 AO victims in the province which ranks fourth in terms of the number of victims in the country. The donation is expected to help them and their families to cope with the difficulties in their lives.
