The Southeast Asia qualifying round of the 2014 Women’s Volleyball World Championship is underway in central Quang Tri province.
In the match that took place right after the opening ceremony on June 14, Vietnam beat the Philippines 3-0. Earlier, Myanmar had lost 0-3 to Indonesia .
Four teams - the Philippines, Myanmar, Indonesia and the host Vietnam will play in a round-robin format. The top team will compete in the Asian qualifying round scheduled for this September in Japan .
