VTV inaugurates modern production centre

The Vietnam Television (VTV) on Sept. 7 inaugurated the first phase of its state-of-art programme production centre on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of the broadcast of its first TV programme.
The Vietnam Television (VTV) on Sept. 7 inaugurated the first phase ofits state-of-art programme production centre on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of the broadcast of its first TV programme.

Attendingthe ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said that in the currenttime of information boom, the extension of technical infrastructure ofVTV is necessary. The centre was built as the initial step of a processto modernise the national television station, building it into a strongmedia group in the region and the world.

Construction of the VTV programme production centre started in 2006, using ODA capital from Japan .

The 385 million USD centre will have a 28-storey building with 18 studios and a system of technical centres./.

Ministry proposes seven-day 2027 Lunar New Year holiday

Under the Ministry of Home Affairs' proposal, civil servants and public employees in Vietnam would receive five statutory days off, including two days before and three days after the Lunar New Year. Vietnam’s hiring outlook to see strong growth in Q4

In Vietnam, among 285 businesses surveyed, 52% expected to increase hiring in Q4, 16% planned to reduce hiring, while 32% intended to maintain their current workforce levels, according to the latest ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey.
