Hundreds of Vietnamese students, overseas Vietnamese in Germany and local people in Bochum city joined a walk on June 21 in support of Agent Orange victims and HIV carriers in Vietnam.

A delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), headed by standing member of the VFF Central Committee Ha Thi Lien and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People Council Pham Phuong Thao, who are visiting Germany, took part in the event.

The annual event is jointly organised by the Vietnamese Intercultural Women’s Initiative in Germany (Vifi) and the Vietnamese Community in Germany under the sponsor of Bochum city’s authorities and the Vietnamese General Consulate in Germany .

Students from Widar school in the city sold T-shirts with logo designed by themselves to raise fund for Vietnamese AO victims and people living with HIV./.
