The amount will help theagencies to make plans and prepare for public investments.
WBCountry Director Victoria Kwakwa said raising the speed and quality ofproject preparation will help facilitate project starts anddisbursement, and bring socio-economic benefits to recipients.
Aproject preparation facility is expected to be launched from Octoberthis year and run until October, 2015.
Finance for the facilitywill be sourced from the International Development Association, WBcapital to assist low-income countries.
Victoria Kwakwa also saidthat with increasing demands for socio-economic development projects,the facility was designed to improve quality of inflow, shorten time ofproject preparation and enhance the capacity of governmental agencies aswell as consultants./.
