Hanoi (VNA) – Spokesperson of the White House Sarah Sanders announced on February 28 that US President Donald Trump and leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong-un had a very good and constructive meeting in the past two days.

In a statement delivered in Hanoi, Sanders said the two leaders discussed ways to advance denuclearisation and economic development concepts.

Though no agreement was reached at this DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnam and no joint statement issued, the sides look forward to meeting in the future, she said.

Earlier in Hanoi, the two leaders unexpectedly concluded negotiations earlier than schedule and left Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Hotel for Marriot and Melia hotels.

They did not have lunch together as originally planned.-VNA
