The plant, the largest of its kind in Cambodia, will be built at a cost of 540 million USD by the Chinese Heavy Machinery Manufacturing Group.
According to Cambodian Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy Suy Sem, the plant is scheduled to be put into operation by the end of 2013, serving energy demands in Phnom Penh and Koh Kong, Preah Sihanouk provinces and several others in the western country./.
