Once the plant is put into operation next May, the country will no longer have to hire foreign partners to implement this service at a high cost.
This is the first oil pipeline coating plant ever built in Vietnam, using the advanced technology and modern equipment of Holland.
The plant will cost nearly 520 billion VND (29 million USD).
The ground-breaking ceremony was held by the PetroVietnam Gas Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (PVID) under the Vietnam Gas Corporation and its partners and contractor Bauhuis International B.V./.
