Vietnamese workers will be trained with the assistance of Samsung Electronics Vietnam (SEV) in order to gain better results at the 43rd Worldskills Competition held in August 2015 in Brazil.

The firm will focus on enhancing skills of workers specialising in mechanical engineering – computer-aided design (CAD) and information technology solutions.

Following a memorandum of understanding signed with the General Department for Vocational Training under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs on March 4, SEV will choose contestants from the 2014 national skills competition to train in its factories within a year.

SEV will also offer a three-month training course in the Republic of Korea for Vietnamese experts who are jury members for the two industries.
