World Bank helps ill-nourished children in Vietnam

Save the Children in Vietnam and the World Bank on November 10 signed a sponsorship agreement worth 2.82 million USD to improve nutrition for children in the northern mountainous region.

Hanoi (VNA) – Save the Children in Vietnam and the World Bank on November 10 signed a sponsorship agreement worth 2.82 million USD to improve nutrition for children in the northern mountainous region.

Yen Bai and Son La provinces will benefit from the project from 2017-2020, with the main beneficiaries being children aged under five, young women and pregnant women of the ethnic groups of Mong, Dao, Thai.

About 142,000 people will directly benefit from the project.-VNA
