Festival 2013 highlighting the rich culture of the region.
The three-day festival, which opened on February 17 in Van Yen district, is part of a tourism cooperation programme between the three upstream provinces of Yen Bai, Phu Tho and Lao Cai.
With diverse activities such as art performances, a show of traditional costumes, food fairs, sports competitions, film screening and exhibitions, the festival has attracted a large number of visitors.
A number of tours along the Red River have also been launched on this occasion. -VN
