Hanoi (VNA) – Outstanding works of young Chinese painters will be exhibited from October 25-30 at Vietnam Art and Culture Exhibition Centre in Hanoi, said the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism on October 21.

The exhibition, which is part of activities celebrating the 66th anniversary of Vietnam-China diplomatic ties, will introduce 50 works of 13 artists who were selected among hundreds of young Chinese painters.

The paintings feature new perspectives of China’s new artist generation on history, nature, society and contemporary values, helping Vietnamese audiences understand the thought and lifestyle of Chinese young generation as well as the diversity of China’s contemporary art. They use different materials such as oil, stone and lacquer.

These paintings have been on display at many prestigious global exhibitions.

Through the event, the Chinese artists wish to cooperate with their Vietnamese counterparts.-VNA
