The 2013 Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia Youth Festival concluded in southern Binh Phuoc province on June 6 with an emphasis on the role and importance of young people in preserving the traditional solidarity among the three nations.
During the three-day festival, 179 delegates enthusiastically engaged in discussions on pressing issues, like environmental protection and national border security.
They explored places of interest in the host locality of Binh Phuoc and participated in a cuisine show introducing traditional foods of each country.
At the closing ceremony, Ton Ngoc Hanh, Secretary of the Binh Phuoc provincial chapter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union affirmed that the traditional solidarity and friendship and comprehensive cooperation among Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia is an invaluable asset handed down by older generations.
