Secretary of the Party Committee in Russia Dang Huu Trung, representatives of Vietnamese Embassy in Russia, associations of overseas students and businesses, HCYU’s members and other relevant agencies attended the event.
At the function, Secretary of the HCYU in Russia Nguyen Quoc Nghia delivered a speech to reviewed glorious traditions of HCYU over the past 79 years.
He praised achievements HCYU’s members have attained in youth union activities, academic performance and scientific researches as well as campaigns to raise Vietnam’s image and its friendship with international friends.
Dang Huu Trung underlined contributions made by overseas Vietnamese students in Russia and expressed his wish that they will continue their efforts to serve as reserve forces of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Also on the occasion, they proposed their initiatives to raise fund in support for domestic students in difficult circumstances./.
