Young people from 10 provinces in the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam development triangle gathered at a forum in Vietnam ’s Central Highlands province of Dak Lak to discuss ways of boosting the region’s development.

The participants are scheduled to touch upon strategies to promote economic development, the role of youths in the region’s development and the friendship amongst the three nations’ young people.

The three-day forum also serves as a venue for the youth to seek measures to strengthen cooperation in education and training, and volunteer activities as well as sharing experiences in socio-economic development and improving public awareness of friendly relations between the three countries.

The development triangle encompasses Cambodia’s eastern provinces of Ratanakiri, Stung Treng, Mondulkiri, the Lao southern provinces of Attapu, Salavan and Sekong and the Central Highlands provinces of Vietnam, namely Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Dak Nong./.
