Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has tasked the Ministry of Education and Training to coordinate with the association of non-public universities and colleges to organise a conference to review 20-year development of non-public education system in the third quarter of 2013.

According to the Vietnam Government Portal (VGP), the findings and recommendations at the conference will help the Government to work out practical measures to continue improving the quality of this educational model.

Vietnam now has 81 non-public universities and colleges, creating a wider access for the youth to pursue study dreams and millions of jobs.

However, in recent years, these educational establishments have found it hard to attract students, according to the Ministry of Education and Training.-VNA
