The Hanoi Creative Design Festival was held in the capital city from November 17 to 26, offering a wide range of performances, exhibitions, and opportunities for the art community to engage with visitors and enjoy high-quality presentations.

One of the standout attractions of the festival was the performance titled Gare-scape, which showcased the enchanting sounds of Hanoi trains.

Gare-scape is a captivating multimedia performance that incorporates recorded sound samples by artist Tri Minh, capturing the essence of Hanoi’s trains.

Visitors had an opportunity to embark on a journey through over a century of Hanoi’s railway history.

They were also treated to photo exhibitions showcasing images of industrial factories, as well as carts offering sweet popiah and cotton candy, providing a unique blend of cultural and historical experiences.

Seven distinct gare-scapes were meticulously recreated, evoking a range of emotions in the audience, from the wistful melodies of train whistles to the nostalgic tunes of ‘Xam’ singing. From the gentle recitation of poetry to the powerful clamor of machinery, these accents create an artistic rendition of days gone by.

In addition to the Gare-scape performance, visitors were also able to enjoy other art performances throughout the duration of the Hanoi Creative Design Week.

The Gare-space performance also includes art performances on the side that visitors can enjoy during the Hanoi Creative Design Week./.
