Hanoi (VNA) – Ten billion VND (about 441,000 USD) worth of medical equipment was presented to Hanoi’s Saint Paul Hospital by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) on April 12.

The hospital also received a 16-seat bus.

The donation was part of the bank’s activities to support the capital’s health sector, said Nguyen Duc Vu, a BIDV representative, at the handover ceremony.

They were meaningful gifts, showing the bank’s responsibility for the community, said Director of the hospital Nguyen Dinh Hung, pledging that the hospital will use the equipment effectively.-VND
