Over 200 businesses and establishments involving traditional handicraft and fine art items are showcasing their products at the ongoing Craft Village Trade Fair (CraftViet) in Hanoi.

Apart from exhibited items such as ceramics, rattan, brocades and silks, dried flowers, marbles sculptures, gold and silver jewellery, the fair has a performance area for craftsmen nationwide to show their skills.

Visitors have also a chance to taste specialties from three regions across the nation at the Vietnamese cuisine space.

Dao Van Ho, Director of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre, said the event is an opportunity to promote the trademarks and products of Vietnamese traditional crafts, and encourage artisans’ creativeness while connecting consumers and producers.
The fair, the 10th of its kind, lasts for four days until September 15.
