This years’ contest attracted nearly 100,000 entries, a 2.5 times higher than last years’ contest.

90 children won prizes, including one first, three second, five third and 81 consolation prizes.

First prize went to Nguyen Xuan Quynh Anh, a 9 year old pupil from Hanoi, who drew children's outings with giraffes in the forest. For Quynh Anh, harmony between humans and animals is a way to express love for the environment, desire to protect the environment and the Earth.

In its fourth edition, the contest continues to affirm important messages on environmental protection which are transmitted through children’s innocence and purity.

The Vietnam Urban and Environment Magazine plans to expand the contest to welcome more works nationwide, especially from children in ethnic minority, remote and island areas./.
