EU’s Horizon programme 2020 arrives in Vietnam
Horizon 2020, a programme offering opportunities to young scientists to
study and work at major scientific and technological centres in Europe,
marked its official arrival in Vietnam at a workshop in Ho Chi Minh city
on November 5.

This is the largest EU research and innovation programme with over 50 billion EUR (62.5 billion USD) of funding available over 7 years (2013 to 2020).
According to Simon Grimley, Regional Representative, EURAXESS links ASEAN, Horizon 2020 has an emphasis on excellent science, industrial leadership and societal challenges with a view to removing barriers to innovation and making it easier for the public and private sectors to work together in delivering innovation.-VNA
