Folk painting exhibition in Ha Long City features spring atmosphere
An exhibition with the theme “Spring colours through folk paintings” officially opened in Ha Long City in the northern province of Quang Ninh on January 23.
With three main spaces, the exhibition displays 20 sets of folk paintings selected from collections at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum.
With bright and fresh colours, the paintings bring wishes of peace and happiness to art lovers as spring arrives.
Within the framework of the exhibition, the Organising Board has also arranged spaces for visitors to experience Dong Ho folk paintings on “Do” paper.
Exhibits also include ancient items featuring traditional celebrations of Tet in Vietnam, creating a space reproducing memories of the Lunar New Year for visitors./.
