The villa, which dates back to the early 20th century, is one of a few buildings in Hanoi to preserve its rich architectural heritage.

The first exhibition at the villa showcases images and artifacts documenting the restoration process, providing residents and visitors with a deeper understanding of the collaborative effort between Vietnamese and French architects and experts, to restore the villa to its original state.

Its Management Board is also working on plans to ensure the villa is utilised effectively and hosts events more frequently.

The villa is expected to become a popular destination for sightseeing and photos, especially among young people and tourists.

According to figures, Hanoi has 1,586 old French villas, including 562 privately-owned and 1,024 State-owned properties./.
