The Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang is organising a 2015 Environment-Green Tourism Week from June 30 to July 4.
The event, part of activities in response to the ongoing 2015 Mekong Delta Green Tourism Week in Can Tho city, aims to raise public awareness of protecting the tourism environment and promoting tourism products in combination with sustainable development and environmental conservation.
The week features several events including picture exhibitions, art shows, volunteer campaigns and a mobile cinema surrounding the themes of tourism environmental protection.
Kien Giang has a number of cultural and historical sites, especially the district island of Phu Quoc which is widely considered tourism paradise.-VNA
