Hanoi, Leipzig tighten economic ties

The Hanoi Business Association (HBS) President Nguyen Hong Son talked of favourable conditions for business in Vietnam , including a stable political environment and a consistent high growth for many years. The Vietnamese State has also tried continuously to improve the investment environment for foreign investors, Son said.
In particular, Hanoi , as a national political, economic and cultural centre, is in need of investment capital and economic cooperation with foreign countries, first of all in infrastructure construction, hi-tech and processing industry, environment, healthcare, education and other fields
Dr Michael Schimansky, in charge of Leipzig economic affairs, welcomed the visit by the Hanoi business delegation. He said with the potentials the two cities have, the meeting would open new cooperation opportunities for Hanoi and Leipzig businesses./.
