Neopeptine, a digestive aid, was recently suspended for sale by the Ministry of Health because of its substandard contents.

The capsules, which are imported from India by Ben Tre Pharmacy JSC, were sold in southern central Phu Yen province and southern Ben Tre province.

The ministry's Drug Administration Department requested the importer and distributors of Neopeptine to remove the medicine from the market and asked local authorities to conduct inspections to deal with any stores that continued to sell the product./.
