To ensure maximum safety for Jetstar flights, the transport of the phone will be rejected completely.
Previously, many foreign airlines and the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines also issued the same ban following reports on battery fires of the smartphone.
The explosion risk has forced Samsung to stop production of Galaxy Note 7 and recall 2.5 million phones in 10 markets.-VNA
