An e-learning centre at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology was inaugurated on May 15 with financial aid of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

According to Lao Dong (Labour) newspaper, the work is part of the five-million USD project launched in 2010 to improve capacity for Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam (CLMV) in founding an ASEAN-ROK Cyber University.

In particular, the project assists CLMV in the establishment of IT and communications facilities, human resource training and technology transfer.

Under the project, Vietnam receives 1.8 million USD to establish and equip the e-learning centre and a Hub (connection) facility.-VNA
