Laos, Philippines boost cooperation ties

between the two nations.

The meeting took place in the framework of Albert Del Rosario’s visit to Laos from April 6-7.
During the meeting, the two sides pledged to further cooperate in the fields of technology, culture, society and human resources development. They agreed to promote the exchange of high-level visits and technician delegations between the two nations as well as support each other on regional and international forums.
The leaders also agreed to encourage businesses of both countries to set up joint ventures and to prepare for the upcoming meeting of the Laos - Philippines joint committee. In the framework of his visit, Secretary of Philippines paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister of Laos Thongsinh Thammavong./.
