Over 200 exhibits are on display at a Vietnamese pottery exhibition, the largest of its kind, at Birmingham Museum of Art in the US state of Alabama from Jan. 22 to April 8.

The event entitled “Dragons and Lotus Blossoms” was hosted by Doc. Donald Wood, chief curator of Asian art at the museum and John Stevenson, one of the leading experts in Asian art in the US.

The latest catalogue of Vietnamese pottery was also introduced at the event, including articles written by leading art experts and Philippe Truong, an independent expert in Vietnamese pottery.

According to Wood, the museum has collected Vietnamese pottery artifacts since 1970 and now owns the largest collection in the US./.
