Malaysian police discover 13 bodies at Johor’s beach
Malaysian policemen have discovered the bodies of 13 people, believed to be Indonesian, at a beach in the southern state of Johor, State news agency Bernama said on January 26.
Malaysian authorities have launched a search for the boat (Source: channelnewsasia)According to the agency, the bodies were found at Bandar Penawar near an eastern coastal area of Kota Tinggi.
Malaysian authorities said the dead were among 35 illegal migrants on a boat departing from Indonesia. The boat had capsized after being hit by strong waves.
