Shares managed to rally towards the end of June 26's session.

On the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange, the VN-Index added 0.1 percent to close at 473.53 points.

While all of the 30 largest shares tracked by the VN30 tumbled on June 25, ten of them managed to rally the next day, including steelmaker Hoa Sen (HSG) which rose 6.7 percent, and Eximbank (EIB) that gained 0.7 percent.

The VN30 fell 0.1 percent to finish at 529.88 points at the end of June 26's session. Outside the VN30, PetroVietnam Gas (GAS) enjoyed a 3 percent increase.

Trading value fell slightly to 1.35 trillion VND (64.2 million USD) on a volume of 66.67 million shares.

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index ended the session up 0.4 percent at 62.24 points. The HNX30, representing the performance of Hanoi's 30 leading blue chips, grew 0.47 percent to 115.85 points.

Trading value dropped by half compared to the previous day at 208.6 billion VND (9.9 million USD) on a volume of around 29 million shares. Financial group FLC (FLC) was the most active code, with 5.3 million shares traded.

Domestic gold price hit a two-year low, being traded around 37.15 million VND (1,766 USD) per tael for buying and 37.52 million VND (1,784 USD) for selling. (One tael is equivalent to 1.2 oz).-VNA
